Campus of Growth sits in the heart of the Northwoods’s Community, which is Huntsville Housing Authority’s largest public housing development with 447 units. The ranch style layout serves as a perfect facility for elderly and youth populations. The primary goal for our center is to flood the community with supportive services in an effort to help families become self-sufficient. The partners that make up our center help is to be one of the best mixed income services centers in the country.

4 Pillars of Campus of Growth

Economic Empowerment
Our goal is to educate residents on the importance of budgeting so that they can be
better equipped with knowledge and skills to manage money effectively.

Educational Advancement
Our goal at a minimum is to help residents graduate from High School. We also want those who have endured challenges and obstacles growing up to have a second chance at education. Our goal is to partner with service providers that will foster GED programs and Training Certificate Programs.

Health & Wellness
Our goal is to help families be more conscious of their health. Prevention and early detection are key. We would also aim to provide holistic services to our target population to include health screenings, ways to get active/exercise and education on healthy eating.

Character & Leadership
Our goal is to help youth and young adults become responsible, productive and caring citizens. We will work with our service providers to ensure that programming aimed at fostering character and leadership qualities are available through volunteer/mentoring opportunities.

Campus of Growth will focus on giving residents opportunities, with the help of community partners, to achieve self-sufficiency. Campus of Growth services will be provided at these various locations within our affordable housing sites or developments:
